Newbie here! I’m trying to do this without meds, so I’m exercising and being very food conscious. I have had one appointment with my endo, and she agreed to keeping with my plan until my appointment in April. I’m not sure about how much protein, carbs and water I should be consuming each day. I’ve read many articles and the information varies. Also, I’m concerned about taking my statin. I understand it can increase my A1C! I’m considering asking my cardiologist to reduce the dosage. Thoughts?

How can I know if my diabetes type 2 is caused by lack of production of insulin, or if the insulin is not working properly?

Here's a new one on me from my friend Daphne Guenther: Have you all heard about the new trend "cozy cardio"? Sounded kind of hokey to me but...if exercise is something you detest (that is harsh) or have a hard time doing, this may be for you. It is basically a stress free approach to working out. Think staying in pj's, grabbing a water/coffee, hopping on a walking pad and watching the morning news or your favourite netflix show. Or turning down the lights, lighting a candle, putting on some cozy clothes and doing a light yoga session or stretch. Another way is doing a dance session in your living room. Movement, without the stress. Staying consistent with something you enjoy may be easier for some than a grueling session in the gym.
