I just read this and had to share. I hope it helps someone today. “To lose my breasts was not a tragedy. Losing my life would be the tragedy.” Thank you Laurie Ratliff for these words.

Sad today. Missing the old me. Anybody out there know what I mean? Need to get out of the house I think. Too maudlin.

Went to a work related barbecue and saw team mates I hadn’t seen in person for quite a while. I used spf 100 sunscreen I obtained from a cancer survivor event. I ate a hot dog that had been bbq’d and it was yummy. I ate other things that made my tummy feel queasy by the time I left. Once I got home I took a Zofran and laid down for a bit. Felt better after the little rest. So with sunscreen, shade and a wide brim hat, I did fine. I’m pooped! My advice is keep on trying to do things as much as you can. Know when to say when.

I can’t sleep at all on Tamoxifen. Yes. I’ve tried Melatonin magnesium Tylenol pm Benadryl getting to bed early. Meditation. Meditative music. Have fan in me all night. I’ve got to get sleep. How do people take this shit.
