[I assume] a well-made, undamaged hat is excellent.I ordered 3 times, & all 3 had something wrong with them. Material defects... Folded & damaged... Warped/misshaped...Aside from that, this hat is phenomenal! Incredible! Magnificent!I believe I found my ideal sun hat. Good crown; Nice ventilation/air flow; WIDE brim; Awesome weave & drape! Unfortunately, They don't seem able to delivery to me one that isn't irregular.*Hope production quality improves. I may try my luck again next year. Good luck!

    This is the best sunhat for women with lots of hair or a bigger head because it is a Men's Hat and the proportions are larger than for a standard Women's hat, which also means you get a wider brim which provides more shade over your entire face and neck. I buy one or two every year and wear them almost every day, even in the pool. They can get wet with no problem. The brim gets a little floppy after plenty of wears and will need to be replaced with a new hat if you like a more rigid brim, which I do. I have 3 different ones I use right now; one for the pool, one for gardening, and one for going on errands that isn't stained or dirty. Very comfortable inside rim against the forehead, even when sweating buckets. Looks great. Feels great. Packed it flat for a vacation to Australia, had no problem with it packing. The only thing I noticed was that quality control is a little off and sometimes a hat will come with a pleated inside rim and this will make your forehead sore. If you get one of these, send it back because you won't wear it because it will hurt your head. I tried to contact the manufacturer about this problem, but got no response at all from them.

    This is the perfect oversized hat and is actually the second I purchased. I bought this off the rack last year and was obsessed with it, wearing it while gardening, kayaking everything. And then I lost it and have been searching for it ever since. This is the exact same hat I had and I am so glad to have it again. Perfect fit as I have a lot of hair and most hats don’t fit over it. The lanyard is also perfect for windy days, or to clip onto your bag. It also has metal rivets for the lanyard so you don’t have to worry about the hat pulling or tearing from adjusting the lanyard.

    It's a nice hat with good quality and has the large brim I wanted for use as a gardening hat. However, it is a thick and heavy hat. I guess I'll get used to it.
    HOWEVER, the head sizing is way off. I'm disappointed that I have to stuff filler in behind the elastic headband to get the hat to stay still on my head and not fall off. I'm not the kind of person that enjoys sending stuff back.
    I race cars so, over the years, I have worn many helmets. I know exactly how big my head is! This is not a 7-1/8 or even a 7-1/4. I'd guess it's a 7-1/2. Duly noted!

    I was worried this hat would be to too big (wide). However, after bringing it along for my beach vacation in Punta Cana recently, I am so glad I chose to bring it along!

    - It covered my face and part of my shoulders/upper back/upper chest, which I think saved me from sunburn most days.
    - Got dipped in the pool/ocean during the day and was dry by the next day.
    - Was rolled and folded up in my luggage (4+hr plane ride both ways) and it retained its shape when I took it out again.
    - Didn't see anyone else on my trip with a similar hat, so it was a bit unique from those you see others wearing (if that matters to you).

    Would highly recommend this hat!
