Hi, all. I've been having vestibular migraines (probably) on and off all day, every day for months. I have a neurologist for "regular" migraines, which I've been getting for years, but this is different and he doesn't have any more answers. I need to at least know what this is. He suggested a second opinion at one location, but there's a waiting list for even scheduling an appointment. Does anyone know of good migraine specialists (pref from teaching hospitals)? I live in NJ but will travel if I have to.

Hi. Has anyone ever had 3rd nerve palsy caused by migraines? That's what I have now. The migraines got worse and more afterwards. I had to have Emgality shots in my stomach to be able to sleep at night.

Living with Migraine
Hey, don't know if this will help, but I've found aromatherapy soothing. It doesn't help, per se, but it does distract me. They suggest stuff like peppermint and lavender, but I've found smells that evoke cosy memories more effective--baking or holiday-related are good (vanilla, maybe coconut, etc). Scented candles are good if you can cover the light. I like Pure Integrity because they're soy and actually emit a smell. Just a suggestion :-).

A couple of things I have learned recently, “ Calm Magnesium” supplement is great for inflammation, energy , and helps with migraines, Also be careful eating tomatoes and other shade plants that cause inflammation!
