I love this. I have laying hens and usually need to store this many eggs. I especially like the dimensions, relatively long and narrow. My fridge is always full and the stuff in the back gets lost. This goes back into the fridge and I can still fit things on top of it if I really need the space because it is flat on top. If you need to store a lot of eggs stack them. It is made in the USA, and is fairly heavy duty. For collecting eggs from my flock I could use this, but I prefer to use Egg Tray,BIAL OTD Folding Portable Plastic 12 Eggs Container Holder Storage Box Case for Kitchen Outdoor. This is a carrier that you can tip and hold like a handbag or briefcase, and it holds jumbo eggs unlike the ones that you find at Walmart in the camping section which hold only smaller size eggs. Between this for egg storage in the fridge and the Bial for collecting eggs or transporting to family members, I have got a better system then when I was using the supermarket cartons.
My suggestion for efficient use is to put eggs in pointy side down. This will make the small eggs which can be sometimes difficult to get out much easier to lift and will make it possible to get jumbo eggs in. If I put the pointy side down on the jumbo eggs in first, they also fit when they otherwise might not. Finally, this product will warp if it is put in the dishwasher. After reading the negative reviews, these were the most common objections to the product, that the eggs were hard to get out and that they were not warned to not put the product in the dishwasher.
