Step 1
Juice and zest lemon. Trim green beans. Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Finely chop chives. Cut hard-boiled egg into quarters.

Step 2
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a generous pinch of salt. Cook baby red potatoes until tender, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool, keeping salted water over high heat. Add green beans to the water and cook 5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking: set aside.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl or jar, combine olive oil, garlic, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 4 tsp lemon zest and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk well or seal and shake until well combined.

Step 4
Pat salmon dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper on all sides. Preheat broiler on high.

Lay salmon on a baking sheet and broil until lightly browned and cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes. Let rest 5 minutes after cooking.
