Absolutely love them!
These are amazing. Love the simplicity of switching weight settings love that they are compact and love the overall construction. My husband and I used to waste money on a gym membership we hardly had time to use so we decided to turn or garage into our own personal gym. We purchase the 552 drum ...

Will break eventually
I used these weights for all my weight training needs for the past three to four years and they worked great. But, after time two years (funny how the warranty ends after that) I noticed the plates not locking quite as sturdy as normal. Now the weights will no longer lock in the final and heaviest w...

#sweepstakes Very convenient to have so many different weights in one set but the weights are way longer than a regular dumbbell and feel kind of awkward doing certain movements. I think I will be able to get used into it but there is definitely a big difference between these and regular dumbbells and there will be a transition period getting used to them.
Great product for home gym.

I have read multiple reviews of your SelectTech dumbbells where the plastic tab on an individual weight breaks off, preventing that weight from being included in the weight setting (it cannot lock in place and is left in the base when the dumbbell is picked up). It seems that for some customers, the 552 set has metal tabs rather than plastic tabs. Please indicate if the current version of the 552 set has metal tabs instead of plastic (Febrary 4, 2024). Thank you!

I have the 552 series 1 dumbbells and one of the discs is cracked. I see knockoffs for sale online, but does bowflex sell the individual or package of discs for replacement. I did get a brand new set of 552's for Christmas, but I would like to repair my old set as a backup or when doing supersets.
- Asked by ROB
- Verified Reply - ShawnaHello Rob! I am sorry to hear your version 1 Bowflex 552 dumbbells has a crack in one of the disks! The only way to resolve this is to purchase a replacement handle. The selection disks cannot be replaced separately. Because the version 1 552 dumbbells are retired, we no longer carry parts for this model. Parts may yet be available via our aftermarket parts distributor, Fitness Repair Parts. They me contacted online at www.fitnessrepairparts.com. Please note that parts between the version 1 and version 2 SelectTech 552 dumbbells are not cross-compatible. Thank you!Was this answer helpful to you

Hello, I have a 552 dumbbell but am having issues with it lately. One of the dials does not turn, no matter what I do while it's in the base. Is there any way to repair this?
- Asked by BRAD
- Verified Reply - DarleneHi Brad, Great question. Please follow these instructions for reference and see attached photo. If the issue persists you may need to contact to further troubleshoot or order parts. Thanks! - Bowflex Team 1. Remove the handle from the base and set your dumbbell on the floor or another firm and level surface. Flip your dumbbell over to expose the black locking mechanism button (reference 1). 2. Carefully press on the black locking mechanism button with a blunt object. Hold the button down while turning the dial to the lowest setting. If the dial is unable to turn, order a Handle Assembly. 3.Check if the handle is able to fully insert into the base. 4. Check if there are any weights stuck in the handle. 5. Make sure all weight plates are facing the same direction and align properly. The selection tongue should face away from the grip of the handle 6. Inspect the base for any debris or obstructions that may interfere with the selection dials or damage the locking mechanism tabs. Remove any debris found. If damage is present, order a Base Assembly. 7. If the issue persists, remove all weight plates from the base. Retest the handle in the base and add 1 pair of weight plates at a time. Retest the selection dial after each pair is added. If the issue is caused when a particular plate is added, order a Weight Plate for the affected plate(s). If the issue occurs after reassembling everything, order a Handle Assembly. 8. Once all parts are reassembled, perform a lock test. (see attachment for Lock Test)Was this answer helpful to you

I'm moving to Arizona and would like to know if I could keep my adjustable dumbbells and adjustable kettlebell outside under a covered patio without ruining them.
