Hot Honey Shrimp

For a quick appetizer, serve these shrimp on their own with a toothpick or tuck into lettuce cups for a fun presentation. Or make it a full meal and serve the shrimp over rice with a side of broccoli.
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon chile-garlic sauce or sriracha
½ teaspoon lime zest
1 teaspoon lime juice
1 teaspoon grated ginger
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 pound large (16-20ct) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Chopped fresh scallions for serving
Whisk honey, chile-garlic sauce (or sriracha), lime zest, lime juice, ginger, and salt in a small bowl. Place next to the stove.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook, stirring, until no longer pink, about 3 minutes. Add the honey mixture and butter. Cook, stirring, until the sauce coats the shrimp and cooks down slightly, about 1 minute more.
Serves 4
Serving size: 3 oz shrimp each
