This weight gain is for the birds. Honestly. I'm so over it. I've fought to not gain weight this whole 5 year journey, and managed to stay pretty stable. Not lose, which is what I really need to do to have a healthier body size, but I was OK with the maintenance at least. Now I'm actively gaining. I'm on Enhertu every three weeks after 7 months of Taxol. I suspect it's the anti-nausea meds they gave me, combined with the pre-meds on treatment day, along with my total lack of hormones just messing with everything. Argh. Not much to do about it, except get better at tracking food and choosing food for fuel, which I do pretty consistently anyway. Just one more thing to think about all the freaking time...OK that's the end of my rant for today :)

It has been awhile since I logged on. I am just so tired. Still working part-time. I met with my Oncologist last Friday after getting my scan on Tuesday I have been on my 2nd line of treatment for 10 mos and now have slight progression in bones but also 3 new spots, add'tl spot on liver and now on skin and more activity in nodes in the chest and stomach area. I start my 3rd line of treatment today. They do say the 3rd time is a charm 🍀.
