Living with Migraine
Thoughts on how to accomplish family needs. My life partner works full time, usually from home and generally speaking more than 60+ hours a week. Her 88 year old father lives with us and is mobility challenged in a walker or 4 wheel wagon when he goes outside with the VA caregiver. I use to be good at making dinner every night but my head made an uptick and I try everything but usually by 5 I'm exhausted from fighting the head. My life partner wants us to eat better so I came up with two options: I cook during the day and they can reheat and eat...I'll eat whenever or option 2 figure out how to suck it up, sometimes reheated food just isn't as good...but i wanted people's thoughts? Maybe have lunch together as a happy medium?

Medication and Treatments
My Dr just recommended a steroid pack called medrol to break the headache rebound cycle I’m in…I’ve tried everything over the counter and just wondering if anyone has ever tried it before and has had success with it?

Folks, I am so glad you are here. At times, when I am o retired and overstressed, I can feel overwhelmed and all alone. It is good to know there are others, who "know". I ha e a question to ask, and I'll bring it, tomorrow? Should I try for a new for me college degree, in counseling psychology -- or, is that too ambitious?

Medication and Treatments
Just wanted to share a couple of things I picked up in the past 24 hours: 1) Box breathing. Inhale for four counts, hold for four, breathe out for four, hold for four. Tried it yesterday when I was prodromal; it didn’t get rid of it completely, but it got it down to a “1”. 2) From Medscape (research articles for MDs- should add that I am NOT a doctor): strong association between poor oral health and migraine. Get out those toothbrushes (and waterpiks and floss), everyone!
