Escape From PsA
I know I told some of yall in the live chats that I’m a children’s book illustrator, and I currently work part time doing social media and illustrations for a small utility company. They’ve been very accommodating to me this past year while I finish grad school and was going through my diagnosis. I was offered full time back in December and I accepted, but it needed to be approved by the general manager. Needless to say that didn’t happen, my boss got promoted, and now they are backfilling her position with a combination of my job and her old job (a job that is not PsA friendly) so there wouldn’t be a way for me to apply and make that work. I’ve been strung along for a month, so two days ago, I put in my two week notice. I’m feeling scared but excited, since now I’ll be able to devote my full attention to my artwork. My business is now official, Amanda Colborn Illustration, LLC! I’m gonna start trying to sell my work at markets in town and open an online store. This was the plan all along it’s just happening sooner! My website is amandacolblornillustration.com if yall want to go check out my portfolio or if you know anybody who needs children’s book illustration work let me know! Thanks for reading! 🤗 onto new chapters 📖

Another update with my Tremfya experience. The company making the medicine was helping us pay for it. (Roughly enough for 2 shots) My husband and I were still trying to figure out what to do because non of it applied to our deductible and we’d still have to pay a lot before getting help from insurance. But prayers have been answered! The company did a benefit investigation (which I didn’t even ask for) and saw that it wasn’t going to apply to our deductible, so they switched us to a new program that will! Now my husband and I no longer with have to worry about any of my medical bills, because the deductible will be paid by 2 doses of Tremfya. We feel very blessed. It’s like a giant weight is lifted off our shoulders. 😌🥹🙌🏼

Hi good people. I’ve been on Orencia for 3 months with no response yet. Rheumatologist said to give it one more month. I’ve got some liver issues and supposedly the Orencia is a drug that usually doesn’t affect the liver. Anybody else use the drug?? What was or is your outcome? Thanks, Jay
