I ordered this monitor to replace the same model we bought a couple of years ago because we accidently sat on it and broke the plastic fitting that connected the cuff to the monitor. We rebought the same model as it has proven to be accurate and reliable, but that's not the whole story.I thought I would write the company to see if I could buy a new plastic fitting as I could not see it on the parts menu. I expected to pay for it because, after all, I broke it. During the email exchange, they asked for my address and sent me one. Today I got it ... no charge. Needless to say, I know the first place I will look for other medical devices ....

    Excellent product. My doctor recommended I keep track of my blood pressure but in the past, I would not maintain any consistency and writing down the details was bothersome. This little monitor does it all in 2 min. with no hassle. It takes your pressure, your pulse and transmits it to the app on your phone in seconds. It displays the date and time you took it, shows it on a graph like page and tracks trends. It has three color indicators, red for high, orange for caution and yellow for normal range. I took my phone to my doctor's appt. and showed him the app. Soooo convenient, so user friendly and sooo worth the price!

    Readings are accurate. We took it one of my husband‘s doctors appointment and when they read his blood pressure in office and compared it to the previous readings in storage, it was right on target.

    As someone who works in EMS, I absolutely hate these things because they tend to scare patients and new EMTs to death when they give false readings. That being said, if you understand that crazy abnormal vitals are probably incorrect and take another couple readings with a 5min break between them, you will most likely see a more accurate result. This device works fine for me, I just tried it out, and sure enough one of my readings was wildly incorrect. With my experience, I have come to expect this, so it was no surprise. But to everyone else out there looking to buy this, please please please use common sense and retake your blood pressure a few times with periods of rest between readings before you worry about what the readings say. Even then there are multiple factors that can cause the readings to continue to be false. This is not to say that your readings may in fact be false depending on your medical history and such, but just use some common sense please when using this to check your vitals please.

    Anyway, as far as this device goes, it was easy to set up, works pretty quick, and the app is convenient. For a basic auto bp cuff at home, this seems fine. At this price point as well, it is a great deal. The cuff fits easily over your arm and it is the style that you can easily tighten with your other hand, which is nice. It came with the needed 4x AAA batteries which I appreciated. Otherwise it's pretty simple. Push the button, think happy thoughts, get a reading. Now I don't have an excuse to ignore my doctor when he asks for my blood pressure measurements.

The app on my iPhone tracks every reading easily and I can let others in my family taking BP readings but not upload their data to my app’s data (you can select the specific readings you want uploaded), which is nice.

    I am right handed and use my left arm for the cuff. In doing this to tighten the cuff you have to reach on the backside of your left arm to tighten and this pulls the tube away from the center of you arm. A lot of errors! My previous cuff tighten from the inside of my arm.
