Living with depression, sometimes grocery shopping and meal planning can feel taxing. Keeping these staple items in my kitchen means I always have some quick and easy options available.
These are great for when I’m having a hard day. They require little to no prep, and I can easily pop them into my air fryer.
I use maple syrup as an alternative to sugar because I prefer the flavor! I use it in my coffee, tea, and any baked goods I make!
These almond butter packets are so easy and convenient. They’re great to just throw in my bag when I’m on the go!
I always pick up some Medjool dates when I’m at the grocery store. They’re a great snack to have throughout the day — I think they’re best paired with peanut butter!
This is a staple I have in my pantry! I find soup to be a comfort food, especially when it’s cold outside. It’s great when it’s canned so that it never goes bad!
This is my go-to snack at night, paired with a nice cup of tea! It’s delicious on its own and filled with so many great nutrients!
Eggs are always on my shopping list — not only because I use them for cooking, but because, when in doubt, I can make them into a meal on their own. I eat scrambled eggs pretty much every day for breakfast and don’t mind eating them for another meal if I don’t feel up to cooking.
