There are many reasons to manage high cholesterol. One is to reduce your risk of heart disease. Exercise can help bring your cholesterol numbers into a healthy range and protect your heart. 

A 2014 study shows that moving your body is good for boosting the HDL (good) cholesterol that helps keep arteries clear. It also improves artery-clogging LDL (bad) cholesterol, triglycerides, and total cholesterol levels.
