Hi, I am Ladyfox. I have psoriatic arthritis, lupus, sjorgrens , fibromyalgia and chronic pain mostly due to a bad back and several back surgeries. Other than that I'm great! The back issues and chronic pain started at 40 and I am now 77. I have to use a rollator to walk now and go to cranial sacral therapy twice a week to keep me going. I am looking into changing my diet drastically so if anyone can suggest diet plans I will appreciate that so much. I know to stay away from nightshades which tomatoes and potatoes I dearly love. I just read where alcohol should not be used. I like to have a drink or two so that goes away too. I've had this for some time but didn't realize what it was until a couple of years ago when I went for my lupus check and the rheumy doc asked me when I started getting psoriasis I was surprised as my sister had been diagnosed the year before with it. My right hand is the worst so I do have an appointment to get some trigger point injections in that so I can use it again.

I have struggled with hating my skin for the past 15 years of my life. I’ve tried phototherapy, various medication like methotrexate, Humira, and nothing has been so effective as yesintek! I recently started this medication and nearly 90% of my plaques are gone after the first dose which was two weeks ago. I am seriously so impressed if anyone is thinking about getting on a biological I would highly recommend this one!! I feel like for the first time in my life I can actually show my skin filled with shame or embarrassed around my. I truly hope everyone is thriving in their skin.

Hey everyone! Has anyone tried halo red therapy? My gym has a new treatment station. I notice the sign mentioned help with psoriasis. 🧐 I’m “psoriasis curious,” lol!

Hello everybody! I just found this place while looking for answers to my problem. It all started in 2022 after lung surgery. My upper body itch after I took a shower. After about the third time we connected a devise to purify the water, it didn’t help. Next was switching soaps, shampoo, conditioner and all that touches my body, it didn’t help, the itching was getting worse. Changed towels, sponges etc. I’m still suffering from that condition, I’m frustrated, scared to take showers, use wet washcloth and the itching still appears. I have consulted several Drs and get no answer. I am desperate! I hope to find someone here that can relate to this condition. Wishes of good health to all of you.

I just found this Forman tonight. I am not sure yet exactly what to expect. I hope to hear from other people going thru the same things that I am. Not wishing my problem on anyone else, but it they already have it Maybe we could compare notes. Meeting up with others who are going thru some of the same things you are makes you feel like you are not the only person in the world to have this problem . I am also hoping to learn about things others are doing(meds, creams shampoos, or whatever) that they are getting good results with. I can see where a group talking/texting about psoriasis should help us. We have a daughter who is almost 59 years old who is Mentally Retarded. When she was firstborn the hospital did not give us any direction when we went home. It was a very lonely time. We felt like we were the only people in our predicament. I remember reading an article in our local paper about a retarded girl & she was setting the table. The article went on to tell a lot more about this girl. I remember their last name was Hobbs. I decided I would call every Hobbs in the phone book until I found this lady & her daughter. It happened the first person I called was the right one. Just talking to the mother on the phone & she could tell me she knew exactly how I felt. This person was a GOD send! Her child was older than mine & she could tell me things they had already been thru. She could give me some good advice . I really did learn to love this Mother& We became very good friends. She meant the world to me. Sadly she passed away about 2 years ago.
