- The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine may arrive as soon as next week, allowing millions more people to get vaccinated. The FDA is expected to authorize the vaccine for emergency use in the coming days.
- Vice President Mike Pence was vaccinated on camera Friday as the COVID-19 vaccine rollout continues. Pence’s vaccination may help push other Americans to view the vaccine as safe and effective.
- COVID-19 has been surging in U.S. prisons, with the Associated Press reporting 1 in 5 prisoners have had COVID-19, and 1,700 have died from the disease.
