- Mental health or neurological symptoms are diagnosed in up to 34 percent of people who’ve had COVID-19, according to research published in The Lancet Psychiatry on Tuesday.
- Almost 50 percent of new COVID-19 cases in the U.S. are concentrated in just five states. New York, one of the five, had the highest number of new infections across the nation last week, according to new data.
- The coronavirus variant B.1.1.7, which originated in the U.K., is now the most dominant variant in the U.S., according to the CDC. This variant is thought to be more infectious than other forms of the virus.
