- In the past 7 days, the U.S. reported a daily average of over 67,000 new COVID-19 infections, according to Johns Hopkins University data. This is an almost 25% increase from last month’s 7-day average.
- Rapid COVID-19 tests will be available over the counter to consumers this week. They’ll be sold at CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, and Walmart.
- Health officials in the Indian capital of Delhi say that they’re running out of medical oxygen — and the situation could be dire if new oxygen isn’t acquired by tomorrow. COVID-19 has surged in India in recent weeks, with over 250,000 cases reported on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
