COVID-19 vaccinations in the U.S. are picking up for those under the age of 16. Over 600,000 children between the ages of 12 and 15 were vaccinated last week, according to CDC Director Rochelle Walensky.
Over 60% of adults in the U.S. have gotten at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to the CDC. Over 154 million people over the age of 18 have received one dose. The Biden administration is aiming to have at least 70% of U.S. adults partially vaccinated by July 4.
