- A new study from the CDC has found that mRNA COVID-19 vaccines reduce infections by up to 91%. And in rare breakthrough infections, people reported far less severe symptoms of COVID-19.
- The Biden administration may have a difficult time reaching their 70% vaccination goal. At the current rate, only 68% of U.S. adults will have had at least one dose by the July 4 deadline, according to the New York Times.
- Pfizer announced that it will begin testing its COVID-19 vaccine in a larger group of children under 12 years old. The drugmaker already determined a lower dose in an earlier stage of the trial, according to Reuters.
