The American Academy of Pediatrics has recommended that all children over age 2 wear masks when returning to school this year, regardless of vaccination status. They also said that school employees should wear masks.
Most unvaccinated people in the U.S. will likely contract the rapidly spreading delta variant of the coronavirus, according to Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former commissioner of the FDA. Gottlieb said that it would probably be the “most serious virus that they get in their lifetime.
