- Sweden and Denmark are pausing the use of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine for people 30 years old and younger after reports of potential rare side effects like myocarditis, reported Reuters.
- Los Angeles will start to require proof of vaccination for people to attend gyms, indoor restaurants, malls, and movie theaters, according to KTLA. It’s one of the strictest vaccine mandates in the country.
- The Biden administration announced that they’ll spend $1 billion on at-home tests to ensure that they’re readily available to Americans, according to the New York Times. The tests have become more popular as the Delta variant surges and people worry that they could develop COVID-19 with minimal symptoms.
