- The Novavax COVID-19 vaccine has no major side effects such as headaches or chills, according to a new report from the company. Novavax has applied for emergency use of the vaccine with the WHO.
- While COVID-19 booster shots have been authorized for some people in the U.S., including people at high risk for getting COVID-19 and those over 65, Pfizer and BioNTech will seek authorization from the FDA for everyone over the age of 18, according to the Washington Post.
- After facing a devastating wave of COVID-19 cases earlier this year, India has now been able to administer over a billion COVID-19 vaccines, according to the New York Times. Over 70% of adults have had at least one vaccine dose.
