With a name that translates to “all mixed up” in Arabic, shakshuka has become something of a brunch staple. But this Tunisian dish of eggs gently poached in a spicy tomato sauce is delicious any time of day.
Similar dishes can be found across North Africa and the Middle East. In Turkey, menemen features eggs scrambled into tomato sauce and peppers.
