Pfizer says that their COVID-19 vaccine can now be stored in a standard freezer. Previously, the vaccine was thought to only be stable at ultra-low temperatures that necessitated special freezers.
Another study out of Israel has found that the Pfizer vaccine is also very effective at preventing symptomatic COVID-19 after a single dose. In a trial, a single dose of the vaccine was up to 85% effective about 15 to 28 days later.
Two women in Florida reportedly dressed up as senior citizens in order to get a COVID-19 vaccine, according to authorities. The women wore disguises in order to get the vaccine before they were discovered.
